Akeem Dent Has Big Shoes to Fill for the Atlanta Falcons

There’s been a lot of talk about the middle linebacker position on the Atlanta Falcons since last year’s defensive leader and leading tackler Curtis Lofton jumped ship for the New Orleans Saints.

The middle linebacker, or “mike” linebacker position plays a big role in today’s complex NFL defenses, and the Falcons are no exception  When Lofton left, the Falcons went out and signed veteran linebacker Lofa Tatupu to help give some guidance to young rising star Akeem Dent.
